Government-provided medical care in Egypt is very poor, and private care expensive. We therefore advise you to purchase comprehensive medical insurance before coming to Egypt. We recommend StudentGuard, used by many IH schools. Please note that you do NOT require vaccinations for yellow fever or cholera but we recommend that for up-to-date health information you refer to your own government-provided travel advice, or the World Health Organisation's website. These information portals should be able to inform you of the vaccinations/medications required for Egypt at any given time.

If you are taking medication regularly, or indeed if you take specific vitamins/supplements, please bring a sufficient supply. While many medications and vitamins are available here in Egypt, some are not. If you have any doubts, feel free to contact our students affairs department for information on local availability.

Will you go with me to the cafeteria now?

هل تذهب معي إلى الكافيتيريا الآن ؟

Used to ask if someone will go somewhere with them

ILI is a great place to come and study Arabic, and they cater to all levels beginner to advanced. The atmosphere is friendly and the staff are open minded and always helpful and smiley no matter what! They also offer many activities outside of the classroom making it possible to see Egypt and to meet lots of other international students. I would highly recommend studying at ILI. Cairo is the place to be!
