Samia Louis, ILI's textbook author, has been teaching Arabic, developing Arabic language course materials and delivering teacher training courses since 1997. Initially, our course books were produced in-house. However, our new range of Egyptian Colloquial Arabic (ECA) textbooks is being published through the American University Press, Cairo. Two books are already available via Amazon or the AUC Press book shops in Egypt, the UK and the USA. The complete series of 5 textbooks (Beginner to Advanced levels) was published in 2009.
